SUMS auditioned chamber choir
The SUMS Small Group is our auditioned chamber ensemble — a tight-knit group of singers who represent SUMS at events, ceremonies, and community functions across Sydney.
Formed in 2014, the Small Group has performed everywhere from weddings and university ceremonies to Christmas carols at David Jones and promotional events like the Sydney University Great Hall Lighting Ceremony.
In concerts, the Small Group also takes the spotlight as a featured ensemble, bringing contrast, intimacy, and clarity to SUMS performances.
In 2023, the group continues under the musical direction of Oliver Golding.
